Crafted from walnut root, this table lamp is hand-finished in an oud instrument workshop in Istanbul using a meticulous process that gives the wood a smooth, luminous finish. The natural depth of the walnut enhances the warmth of the light, creating a subtle, calm, and atmospheric glow. The result is a piece that feels both minimal and expressive in its materiality.

The base is formed by two interlocking, laser-cut legs, hand-finished for a balanced structure with a refined architectural presence. The cylindrical lampshade is made from 100% recyclable polycarbonate.

Inside the Atelier of Pablo Sinan Design

Raised between Istanbul and Madrid, Pablo Sinan Akgül brings a distinctly multicultural perspective to his work, shaping objects that feel both contemporary and thought-provoking. Drawing from a background that spans product and furniture design, Pablo approaches each piece as a narrative, using material and form to express identity and intention. His work reflects a balance between precision and exploration, where craftsmanship becomes a way of translating ideas into tangible, lasting objects.

After studying Product Design at IED Madrid, he went on to collaborate with the Italian brand True Design and gained experience across design and architecture studios in Spain. He later completed a master’s degree in Luxury Design at the Creative Academy of the Richemont Group in Milan, and is currently working as a product designer at a leading luxury house in Paris.
